We'll handle it for you

Every good appeal quotes the decision back. Here's where Meta shows it.

Instagram app

  1. Profile, then the menu (three lines), then Settings.
  2. Scroll to Account Status.
  3. Open the flagged item; the policy and date are listed there.

Instagram on desktop

More (bottom left), Settings, Account Status, then the item.

Suspended or disabled screens

Scroll below "Why this happened" on the notice. That paragraph names the Community Standard. Screenshot it before doing anything else.

Facebook

Notifications (bell), Profile Status or Account Status list removed content and the rule cited. Support Inbox holds older decisions.

Email

Search your inbox for messages from Instagram or Facebook security domains around the decision date. A reference ID often sits in the footer.

Can't log in at all, so none of this is visible? UnbanPro covers reading Account Status and can take over from there.

Save the evidence now

  1. Screenshot the full notice, scrolling down to "Why this happened".
  2. Save every Meta email as a PDF.
  3. Write down the date you first saw the notice and how many days the countdown showed.

This evidence is what a formal notice or an ACE dispute is built on.
